Wine and the City chats to wine writer Hugh Johnson OBE aboard wine cargo ship the SV Irene, moored at Butler's Wharf near Tower Bridge, having just arrived from a two-week voyage from Bordeaux to transport Laithwaites' latest release: Le Voyage du Chai au Quai Castillon 2009. Johnson recalls a similar sea venture he undertook with Tony Laithwaite in 1975 aboard the Marques.
